Joell and I started Square Pegs thinking we could make a difference in a few lives. It's become a wonderful place to be and our new ranch in Half Moon Bay has allowed us to do so much more with our horsemanship program.
As a high-tech guy, I watch all the creative and interesting uses of the internet. And as a non-profit guy, I watch especially watch those new tech and internet efforts that try to make a difference in the world. I have lots of favorites, from TechSoup to Network for Good to Volunteer Match.
This weekend, I discovered Six Degrees. Kevin Bacon is involved in the effort and his intro video is great. The team has done a wonderful job with it, including the nicely done badge feature that allows you to declare your support on your blog or website. Check it out.
